BBQ rib rub.

A fantastic rub for Pork Ribs, tweaked from an original recipe by a pit master, spicy but without intense heat.

Enough for 4 racks of baby back ribs. Either on the BBQ or just as good from the oven.


  • 2 tablespoons Lawry's Seasoned Salt (available online)
  • 1 Tablespoon Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 a teaspoon pure hot chilli powder
  • 1 Tablespoon paprika
  • 1 Teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 Teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 Teaspoon mixed herbs


Step 1

Mix everything together in a bowl and store in an air tight container. It will keep fresh for four weeks, store in a cool dark place.
